THREE Productivity Tools I Can’t Live Without

Being in business for over 17 years now, I’ve seen a lot of things come and go.

The good, the bad and the ugly!

But I’ve also come across a number of tools that have helped boost the productivity of both myself, and my team.

Quite frankly, these tools have become so helpful in my businesses, that I couldn’t live without them.

So I thought… why not share these with you to help you on your journey towards achieving more success, wealth and freedom in your business.

Now, just to be clear – I’m not promoting these tools, I just wanted to let you know about them because we’ve been testing them (with great success) over the last year or so…

So here’s my bite-sized overview…

Asana

For quite a few months now we’ve been utilising this ‘project/task management’ tool, and it’s working brilliantly well with the team.

Particularly when it comes to ‘getting stuff done’.

It’s great for ensuring that you stay consistent with your scheduling, and hit those oh-so important deadlines. Keeping you and your team accountable.

It’s called Asana, and if you haven’t heard it – here’s the spiel:

‘Asana is the easiest way for teams to track their work.’

In a nutshell, you can create task lists, assign them, set deadlines and tick them off as you go. Plus, it’s free for teams up to 15 – so well worth checking out.

Free to use, simple to get started, and powerful enough to run your entire business.

Does it get any better?

Slack

Slack is my go to communication tool, keeping everything together (all in one place). Files, project work, you name it…

Think Skype, but more efficient in terms of layout and design (in my eyes at least).

It’s essentially a real-time messaging platform that allows you to organise, archive and search for project work, updates or chat history.

Perfect for modern business and great if you work with outsourced teams, free-lancers or find yourself on the move quite often.

You can find out more here: https://slack.com

Plus, you can sync Slack with Asana, giving real time updates on task completion – so a great way to make sure the essential tasks your team are working on are getting completed – on time!

Last but not least…

Zapier

Now this ‘app’ or ‘tool’ truly is productivity on steroids.

Zapier makes it super-easy to automate tasks between your web apps.

Allowing you achieve a whole lot more, in a lot less time.

After a bit of setting up, you can connect your webs apps (so things like Dropbox, Gmail, Slack, Asana, Mailchimp, Infusionsoft, Google Sheets, Accountacy Packages etc) and automate your workflow, seamlessly.

It can quite easily save you (and your staff) hours of wasted time.

Set it up one and you can automate all those laborious tasks that eat in to valuable time, so you can focus on the tasks that are going to push your business forward, faster..

So there you have it…

Those are the THREE Productivity Tools I can’t live without. What are yours?

Feel free to drop me a comment and let me know. I’d love to know what’s working for your business – so do get in touch.
